I wanted to change the stock tyres of my new VW Virtus GT plus immediately after taking its delivery. Called Subash bhai and despite it being a Sunday he contacted Continental warehouse and arranged the tyres first thing in the morning of Monday. The tyres were almost oven fresh, made in June 2023. I received a good exchange rate and had a good experience.

Card payments are being charged additional 2.5%, which is unreasonable, as this practice has been discontinued by most. Surprisingly, for UPI payments there is no additional charge, though fundamentally both are similar. I have been patronizing this place since 2004 and have always found them reliable, however, during my visit on 14-Dec, for replacement of 4 tyres, I'm not sure if I can continue to repose my faith. The person doing the wheel alignment has conned me on the pretext of buying WD40 spray, which he never bought. I learnt about his con when I asked him to return the leftover spray can and he showed me a very old and stained spray can and said there's nothing left. Charging extra for valves is not right since there's no reason for using old valves when replacing with new tyres, moreover when they say that their prices are all inclusive. Further the person who did the wheel alignment had earlier checked my old tyres and said that the wheels were out and this requiring replacement, whether his recommendation is credible? Owner needs to take stock of thse elements to protect his reputation.
