Came to Hampi driving as a tourist, and realised that I had a nail in my tubeless tyre of my Skoda. Went to this shop after doing research on the Net to find a good one, as I did not want a quick-fix roadside repair with the rubberised rope insertion - which gives way. And the roadside guys can't remove a tyre properly - they often damage the rim.
Other shops, on speaking on the phone at 7pm, didn't have a clue about patch repair of a tubeless tyre. But on speaking to this shop, replied authoritatively, checked with the technicians, and got back with a confirmation and asked me to come over. They confirmed they will keep the shop open till I arrived (as it was a drive for me from Hampi to Hospet).
The experience in the shop was a pleasant surprise. The shop was very well equipped, with spanking new John Bean machinery for wheel balancing and wheel alignment (that's an expensive, and high end brand). It was clean. They even have nitrogen machine for filling up tyres.
And the owner himself (a gentleman named Atif, whose father started the shop 40 years back) was fielding questions and giving instructions to his staff. Their attitude of keeping the shop open for customers even beyond working hours - they do that on requests for tourists - is amazing.
It was a pleasure to find such a shop in a relatively smaller city. Strongly recommend.
